A teacher was asking her class, “What is the difference between ‘unlawful’ and ‘illegal’?”

Only one hand shot up.

“Ok, answer, Joan,”

“‘unlawful’ is when you do something the law doesn’t allow and ‘illegal’ is a sick eagle.”
